There is a wide array of dishes in Chinese cuisine and most of them are very tasty as well. Whether  you  love  spicy dishes or  the lightly  spiced  variety you will  get  your favorite dish in the  Chinese cuisine.  You can try out Chai tao kway, which is a well known dish of Chinese cuisine.

Chai tao kway is one of the most common dishes of Teochew Cuisine in China.  This dish is also very populr in Singapore and Malaysia. This is a dim sum dish that is very good for health. This dish is also well known as fried carrot cake.  Some people in much Southeast Asian country also call it carrot cake. The reason behind the name is that Daikon, one of the most important ingredients of the dish can also refer to a carrot. Originally it refers to a red radish.  However, you must not confuse it with the Western carrot cake.

The amazing dim sum dish is made from rice flour and white radish.  In Malayasia the dish is served as rectangular slabs. These slabs are steamed and then fried.  But Singapore cuisine has a different style of preparing the dish. Here the entire slab is cut  into  pieces  and  are stir  fried with soy sauce, eggs, garlic, dried  shrimp  and spring onion.  There are two versions of the dish. The white version does use sweet soy sauce.  In this  version  the  carrot cake  is  fried on top of  a beaten  egg so that  a  crust  is  formed.  The black version used sweet soya sauce. In this variety the egg is mixed with the carrot cake.  Both the versions are very tasty.
